Graduate Diploma Admission Requirements
The College of Graduate Studies is committed to offering comprehensive graduate diploma programs that blend theoretical and practical knowledge. These programs are developed in response to the needs of various colleges and are subject to approval by the University Council.
Offering Programs and Awarding Diplomas
- Program Supervision: Graduate diploma programs are supervised and evaluated by the College of Graduate Studies.
- Degree Awarded: Successful students will be awarded a general graduate diploma, adhering to the rules and regulations outlined in this chapter.
Basic Eligibility Criteria
Prospective students must meet the following requirements for admission to any general graduate diploma program:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from Kuwait University or a recognized academic institution.
- Minimum Academic Achievement: An overall average of at least 2.33 points on a 4.00 scale, or its equivalent, is required at the undergraduate level.
- Program-Specific Requirements: Additional requirements, including language proficiency, set by the chosen program and approved by the College of Graduate Studies, must be met.
- Academic Standing: Applicants should not have been academically dismissed from the general graduate diploma program for which they are applying.
