Graduate Courses for Non-Degree Students
At CGS, we offer a pathway for individuals who are interested in taking graduate-level courses in a specific program without enrolling in a full degree program. This option is tailored for those seeking to expand their knowledge in specific academic areas. Below are the key guidelines for non-degree course enrollment and potential transition to a degree program.
Enrollment Guidelines
-
Registration Process: Non-degree students may enroll in graduate courses with the approval of the Program Committee and the College of Graduate Studies, subject to meeting specified conditions.
-
Fees and Remuneration: Non-degree students are required to pay the remuneration as determined by the University Council, based on the recommendation of the Graduate College Council.
-
Refund Policy: Fee refunds are not possible after the end of the “add and drop” period.
-
Transcript Issuance: The College of Graduate Studies will issue a transcript detailing the grades obtained by the student in the courses they registered for.
-
Degree Enrollment: Registration in graduate courses under this policy does not equate to enrollment in a program leading to an academic degree.
