Study Fees at the College of Graduate Studies
Overview
The College of Graduate Studies at Kuwait University has established a fee structure for students as determined by the University Council, based on recommendations from the Graduate College Council. The fee categories and their applicability are outlined below:
Types of Fees

Registration Fee: This fee is required for each semester of enrollment.

Study Fee: Students must pay this fee for each credit hour they register for.

Research Fee: Applicable for each semester during which a student registers for a thesis or dissertation.

Re-enrollment Fee: Required to reinstate a student’s enrollment for any given semester after the enrollment period has ended. The re-enrollment fee is one hundred and sixty Kuwaiti Dinars (160KD).
Refund Policy

No refunds can be claimed for any fees paid after the “add and drop” period.
Fee Adjustments in Exceptional Cases

In special circumstances, and with the approval of the Graduate College Council, fees may be reduced or, if deemed necessary, canceled. This provision ensures flexibility and support for students facing unique situations.
