Overview of Scholarship Availability
At CGS, we are committed to supporting our students’ academic pursuits. Kuwaiti students admitted to Master’s Degree Programs may be eligible for scholarships, which are awarded based on a set of defined criteria and the approval of the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies.
Eligibility and Approval for Scholarships

Requirements for Scholarship Approval:

To qualify for a scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a Master’s Degree Program on a full-time, regular basis.

Not have any other income source from employment or grants inside or outside the University. However, grants from the University’s Research Administration to support graduate students are exempt from this condition.

Duration and Value of Scholarship:

Scholarships are awarded for a maximum duration of twenty-four months.

The scholarship amount is four hundred Kuwaiti Dinars (KD 400) per month.

Academic Responsibilities:

Scholarship recipients may be assigned by the department chairman to assist in undergraduate teaching-related tasks for up to six (6) hours per week.

Scholarship Cancellation and Refund

Conditions Leading to Cancellation:

The scholarship will be canceled if any eligibility conditions are violated.

In such cases, the student must refund the scholarship amount received during the period of violation.

Cancellation Procedure:

Scholarships may be canceled based on an explanatory report from the Academic Supervisor, subject to the approval of both the Program Committee and the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies.
